The Semi-Official Girl Genius Decoder Wheel Program Installation instructions This program comes in 5 self-extracting archives: Decoder.exe Wheels1.exe Wheels2.exe Wheels3.exe Media.exe This is a hands-on installation: 1. Run the first four in order. They will want to create two directories, \Decoder and \Decoder\Wheels. You can change the name of the Decoder directory, or place it somewhere besides the root. If you change the name of the Wheels directory, or move it from the decoder's directory, the program won't be able to find its bitmaps, and it will throw a hissy fit. 2. Create a desktop shortcut to the decoder program, D_Coder.exe 3. If you don't hear the sound effects when the program is running, use File | Options to set the location of your .WAV files and set the Sound Level option to one of the sound choices. 4. If you still don't hear the normal sound effects, run Media.exe and have it extract its files into your chosen .WAV directory. It defaults to \Windows\Media. 5. If you _still_ don't hear the sound effects, and the Sound Level is not set to No Sound, check your system's volume setting. Use Help | Read me to learn more about this program.
